About Us
The Beginning
Luis Alves learned the trade when he migrated from Portugal to France when he was 11 years old and worked as a baker. In 1981 he bought Central Ave Bakery and introduced all the delicious pastries and breads he had learned.
Second Generation
Now, along with son David Alves and daughter Monica DelDonno, they have evolved the business to carry a vast array of imported Portuguese groceries and food available for take out .
